Transport

​

• With regard to the bicycle transportation service, we provide careful and responsible transportation. In the event of any anomaly in the transported bicycles, we decline any responsibility. Generally, the customer checks the care in placement and packaging of the bike in the trailer and accompanies it during the trip, therefore witnessing good transportation practices and can give feedback on good conduct.

• The bicycles are packaged with appropriate accessories and supports for the transportation of bicycles, without the need to disassemble bike components. In extreme cases, for the sake of safety and care for the equipment, it may be necessary to lower or raise the seat post to facilitate packaging.

• Regarding the transportation of electric bicycles (e-bikes), it is carried out without the battery installed on the bike. The total weight of the bike, with or without the battery, cannot exceed 20 kg per bike.

Insurance

• Nevertheless, we are covered by the respective mandatory insurance required by the activity, for any accident or unforeseen situation. However, if the customer wishes to have exclusive insurance for their bicycle, they can contact us to request a quote.

• In case of breakdown of the Brito Bike Travel vehicle, we are assisted by roadside assistance. They will take the customers to their final destination, according to the rules of roadside assistance. The bicycles may have to be transported in another vehicle to be delivered on a different date. In these cases beyond our control, there can be no compensation or reduction of the budgeted amount.

Trip

• During the trip, prolonged stops are not planned, only stops for quick food or drink satisfaction and physiological needs that are along the route, without detours, that do not exceed fifteen minutes.

  If the group plans any stops for meals or other longer stops, it must be informed in advance so that a budget can be presented with that service included.

• Although all equipment is equipped with a security lock, it is good practice for passengers to guard the bicycles during stops and in the absence of the driver for brief moments.

• Brito Bike Travel undertakes to be present on the scheduled date and time at the location to collect cyclists and bicycles. Brito Bike Travel cannot be held responsible for any delays that may arise due to traffic, breakdowns, or other unforeseen circumstances. The customer will be informed of this setback. Therefore, there is no right to any compensation or reduction of the agreed price.

• According to the date and time scheduled for collecting cyclists, the maximum waiting time, without any notice from the customer, is one hour at the designated location. If the time is exceeded and no one is present at the agreed location, there will be no refund of the paid amount.

Missing Cases

• They will be resolved in accordance with the law and applicable general principles of law and analyzed by management on a case-by-case basis.
